Fixing Tips
Preparation
Most guitar effects pedals have a foam pad glued to the base of the pedal, This should be removed before fixing the
spiky grip patch.
Simply peel the foam pad away from the base plate, this should come off in one piece.
Sometimes the glue off the foam pad is still stuck to the base plate, I use a cloth soaked with a small amount of white spirit.
Wipe over the adhesive with the cloth and this will remove it, allowing for the white spirit to evaporate, you are now
ready to fix the patch.
Peel the backing tape off the spiky grip patch (be careful not to touch the adhesive) aline the patch to base of the
pedal and fix.
Once in place spread outwardly with pressure on the patch to remove any air that could be trapped between the
patch and the pedal, this will allow the patch to fit smoothly when fixing the pedal on the pedalboard.
